One of Carson High School's own students, Melanie Burrett, was elected the 2024-25 Nevada State Reporter. Meanwhile, Maximillian Bushey was placed on one the Nom Com team for the State Office during the convention.

Additionally, the Soils team won as the First High Team and went on to compete in nationals this past month. The Nursery and Landscape Team: Maximillian Bushey, Lauren Davis, Eddy Fonseca-Loyola and Arissa Hughey won state and are on their way to nationals.

The Meats Evaluation and Technology left their contest with fifth in the State. The Horse Evaluation team left with Alex Nerska placing sixth individually in the State.
