Fifth graders from all six public elementary schools as well as Carson Montessori and Saint Teresa’s will perform virtually as a unified holiday choir for the annual Silver and Snowflake Festival of Lights this Friday, Dec. 4, at 5 p.m.

The fifth grade students have been learning the music and safely rehearsing outside to prepare for the video debut. Music teacher Christina Bourne of Mark Twain Elementary coordinated the various productions.

The program will begin with interviews with various music teachers followed by the fifth grade holiday choir. The event and performances will be aired on NGBN, Carson City’s streaming community TV station, which can be easily accessed by logging on to carsoncitynv.tv.
