PDC Goals
To enhance the professional knowledge and skills of the CCSD teachers in effective teaching through training that has a direct correlation with student achievement.
To promote a culture of dialogue that supports personal growth and reflection on one's own practice.
To provide an induction program for newly-hired teachers, which provides ongoing support through: mentoring, cognitive coaching, and training based on the CCSD evaluation tool, The Framework for Effective Teaching.
